JobTread Review: Estimating and Job Costing for Remodelers and Builders
✓ Prices and features last checked on vendors' official sites: Oct 14, 2026
JobTread is construction management software for remodelers, builders, and specialty contractors who estimate jobs, run budgets, and track costs over weeks or months instead of hours. This review is based on JobTread's published pricing and FAQ, not a hands-on test.
Pricing
- Base: $199/month, which includes 1 internal user.
- Extra internal users (monthly plan): $20 each for users 2–10, $15 each for 11–20, $10 each for 21–30, and $5 each for 31 or more.
- Extra internal users (annual plan): $16, $12, $8, and $4 for the same tiers.
- Annual billing: JobTread says it saves 20%.
- No contract and no setup fees. Implementation, training, and support are free.
- 30-day money-back guarantee on the monthly subscription.
- No free trial. JobTread says this is because it assigns every client a Customer Success Manager.
What counts as a user
Internal users are employees who manage jobs, schedules, time, and reports. Customers, vendors, and subcontractors use an external portal for free with no limit. JobTread also says field crew who only upload photos, log daily notes, view their schedule, or check off tasks can be added as free users. For a remodeler with a big sub list, that matters more than the base price.
Example: a 3-person office on monthly billing
$199 + (2 × $20) = $239/month, based on JobTread's published tiers. Field crew who only log photos and notes don't count.
What it covers
JobTread says every feature is included in the subscription. Its page lists awards in estimating, bid management, project management, jobsite management, scheduling, CRM, and accounting categories. That tells you the scope it aims at: estimating, budgets and job costing, scheduling, and client and vendor portals in one system. Ask in the demo to see a full estimate turn into a budget and then into cost tracking on a sample job before you buy.
Who it fits
- Remodelers and builders who want estimating and job costing in the same system as scheduling.
- Teams with many subs and suppliers, since portal users are free.
- Probably not a one-truck service business that mostly needs quick quotes and same-day invoices. A field service tool like Jobber or Housecall Pro fits that work better.
